Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before your visit. By booking at Applegarth Sniffari online you are agreeing to follow our Terms and Conditions and Rules.
1. The client is the person who makes the booking. The booking must not be transferred to anyone else. However, you may invite another household to use the field with you. The maximum number of dogs allowed to use Applegarth Sniffari at any one time is 7 (unless otherwise agreed before any booking) with a ratio of a maximum of 4 dogs to 1 person. In addition, the number of cars being used for a visit should not exceed 5. The person making the booking is the named hirer and is responsible for ensuring that others in their party have read and followed our rules and Terms and Conditions.
2. While using the facility, you accept full responsibility for your own animals and personal welfare, well-being and insurance. No claims of any sort will be entertained for any injury or loss to persons, possessions or animals whilst using our facilities. Use of our paddock and fields shall be entirely at the user/hirer’s own risk. Applegarth Sniffari will not be held responsible for loss, theft, injury, damage or accidents sustained to personal property, individuals or animals whilst using the facility or on the property.
3. All dogs are welcome at Applegarth Sniffari
But we need to follow new guidelines for Xl bully
If you’re not sure if you have an XL Bully dog, you should apply for a Certificate of Exemption. You must have third party public liability insurance for your XL Bully dog before using the field.
XL bullies must be kept on their lead and muzzle on until they have entered the secure field, then they can be removed. XL bullies within one household can use the field at one time , if that household has other dogs they are allowed to play together in the field. You can’t invite your friend with their XL Bully to share the field hire . This rule has been provided by my Insurance Company.
4. Your dog remains your responsibility at all times. When not in the secure area, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
5. While using Applegarth Sniffari, please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
6. All vehicles parked on the property are left entirely at their owners’ risk. We accept no responsibility for damage, accidents or otherwise, whilst they are on the premises.
7. Payments are not refundable. Once bookings are made, they cannot be altered. Please ensure you have the correct time and date before booking.
8. Dog escapees are the responsibility of the owners.
9. All litter must be removed from the paddock, except for poo bags which should be put in the bin provided.
10. Our paddock and fields are checked daily for cleanliness, security issues and litter but please remember it is your responsibility to pick up your own dog poo and dispose of it in the bin provided. Any other Health and Safety and/or maintenance issues should be referred to Judith on 07873546409.
11. Please note there are no toilet facilities on site.
1. While using Applegarth Sniffari, you accept full responsibility for your animals.
2. Bookings start on the hour. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before the start of your booked session as there is limited parking
3. Please respect other users and their time by arriving and leaving WITHIN your time slot so there is no overlap.
4. Sessions last for 50 minutes. Please vacate the field promptly and leave the car park no more than 5 minutes after your session has ended.
5. It is unfair on other clients to keep them waiting, especially if they have reactive dogs so anyone remaining in the field after their allocated time will be charged for an additional slot.
6. On arrival at Applegarth Sniffari, please park considerately.
7. Close the car park entrance gate before letting your dog out of the car.
8. All dogs must be kept on leads in the car park area and only released within the secure field.
9. Do not enter the paddock until the previous client has exited the paddock with their dog. (Some owners may choose to wait in their car with their dog until this has happened.)
10. Access into the dog paddock is double gated and the pedestrian gate into the paddock from the car park has a coded keypad which gives you entry to all our facilities. The keypad number will be sent 1 hour before the field slot starts. For your security, the code is changed at regular intervals.
1. Applegarth is a working farm and there are other animals on site. Please do not feed these animals whose profiles will be displayed on the fencing for you to learn more about the residents who live at Applegarth.
2. Remember that our paddock is primarily for the use of dog walkers. Well-behaved children are welcome as long as supervised at all times by an adult over 18 Years and should never be left alone.
3. Dogs using the equipment and obstacles also do so at their and their handler’s own risk.
4. Do not let your children play on or with any equipment, including the dog equipment. It is for dogs only!
5. Clients are responsible for their dogs at all times. Make sure your dogs don’t dig in our fields. Our 1.8m fencing is comprehensive and robust, but digging or climbing dogs will definitely need to be supervised. In the unlikely event of an escape, escapees remain their responsibility, not Applegarth Sniffari.
6. At the time of booking, clients should ensure that they have third-party insurance. (This is usually part of a dog’s pet insurance so you may need to check as you will be liable for any damage caused by anyone in your party and/or your dog(s)).
7. Due to the nature of fields in general, we recommend you wear suitable footwear, wellingtons or hard sole shoes.
8. Grass areas can be wet and muddy in the winter. (We do have a shower for the dog paws but please don’t use any soaps or shampoos.)
9. While our parking area is suitable for all users (as is our field shelter) our paddock is not suitable for wheelchairs or electric scooters.
10. Please ensure your dog’s vaccinations, worming and flea treatments are up to date BEFORE your visit. Dogs (or any they live with) suffering from a cough, diarrhoea, sickness or any other illness should not be brought to Applegarth Sniffari.
